Your route begins around Rhodes Town, passing the fortifications of the UNESCO-listed Medieval City of Rhodes before reaching Mandraki Harbour. You will also see the Church of the Annunciation and the northern end of the city near the Aquarium of Rhodes.
The tour then climbs to Monte Smith Hill for broad views over Rhodes Town and the Aegean Sea. Here, the archaeological zone includes the Temple of Apollo and the Ancient Stadium, offering a useful introduction to the island’s classical past before the journey south.
Travelling down Rhodes’ eastern coast, you pass Mediterranean scenery, olive groves and villages on the way to Lindos. The village’s whitewashed lanes are largely pedestrianised, so comfortable shoes matter. Free time can be used to visit the Acropolis of Lindos, browse local shops, enjoy lunch or see the sheltered water of St Paul’s Bay. The uphill Acropolis route has uneven surfaces and many steps; admission and optional activities should be confirmed before booking.
The final major stop is Kallithea Springs, a restored seaside complex known for its Italian-era architecture, pebble mosaics and clear cove. Depending on the schedule and conditions, there may be time to explore or swim, so bring swimwear if that appeals.
